Red Jacket Yacht Club

Seventy-five years ago a group of Comet and Star sailors incorporated as Red Jacket Yacht Club and purchased fifty plus acres of waterfront land, house and buildings on Cayuga Lake.  June 26, 2021, more than 250 folks spent the day celebrating the history of the Club.  The day included family games, a pig roast and a ceremony highlighting past Commodores and was capped by spectacular fireworks.  The original Club burgee and Commodore’s patch have been framed and were presented to the Club along with a beautiful acrylic painting with a likeness of the Club.  Each dinner table centerpiece represented an era of Club history.  The family of Red Jacket members have lovingly cared for the Club over the years with every decade being marked with significant improvements. We look forward to a bright future.
